Overview

Herzog Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking Software Test Engineers in Fort Worth, TX to join our team. These individuals will be responsible for testing software applications that control hardware systems, ensuring quality and reliability of integrated software-hardware solutions. Expertise in all languages and technologies listed below is not required; we expect that you will learn quickly upon joining the team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute test plans for software-hardware integrated systems.
  • Set up and maintain hardware test environments.
  • Debug issues across software-hardware interfaces.
  • Document defects and verify fixes.
  • Develop testing tools and simulation environments.
  • Monitor system performance and stability.
  • Collaborate with software and hardware engineering teams.
  • Regular and consistent engagement, participation and promotion of Herzog's Culture and its essential behaviors are a requirement for this position.
  • Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are a requirement for this position.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years experience in software testing.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks.
  • Understanding of embedded systems and real-time applications.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with testing tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.).
  • Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
  • Strong programming skills in Python/C++.
  • Background in electronics or embedded systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
  • Subject to pre-employment background check and motor vehicle report review.
  • Subject to pre-employment physical, medical evaluation, and drug screen.
  • Successfully complete and maintain any required safety certification and testing on an annual basis.

  • Work primarily in an office environment.
  • Frequently sits for extended periods of time.
  • Frequently use a computer keyboard and office related equipment.

  • Must be able to hear and distinguish auditory signals as required by the position.
