BASIC PURPOSE The function of the e-Commerce Specialist is to assist in facilitating the overall mission of The Salvation Army through the programs offered at the Reno Corps under the direction of the Director of Operations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Create and optimize product listings to enhance visibility and drive sales. Evaluate items and list according to industry standards. Ensure proper packaging prior to shipment. Maintain records and update computer spreadsheets. Keep a current inventory of needed supplies. Contribute to the team effort or program participant guidance. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS Experienced in identifying collectible items for resale. Advanced computer and internet skills, with knowledge of MS Office. Organization and the ability to work under time constraints a must. Essential to be a team player and take directions. Creative writing and entry level photography skills. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS High school diploma or equivalent. Must be 21 years or older. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis Ability to grasp, push, and/or pull objects Ability to reach overhead Ability to operate telephone Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds Ability to operate a computer Ability to process written, visual, and/or verbal information Ability to stand for eight (8) hours per day JOB DESCRIPTION ACKNOWLEDGMENT Qualified individuals must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
