Position: Dentist Contractor
Location: 4650 Broad River Road Complex (BRRC), Columbia, South Carolina 29210
Compensation: $900/day ( $112.50 per hour)
Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays. 3 days a week/ 8 hours a day is preferred

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dentist Contractor to provide essential dental services at multiple locations in South Carolina. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality dental care, including exams, cleanings, and basic procedures while working within a structured schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive dental services including exams, oral hygiene instruction, cleanings, x-rays, restorations, and simple extractions.

  • Prioritize and manage emergency and urgent dental cases effectively.

  • Collaborate with a Dental Assistant to handle administrative functions such as scheduling, ordering supplies, and equipment maintenance.

  • Refer complex cases to local specialists or oral surgeons as needed.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and comply with all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Current South Carolina dental license in good standing.

  • X-ray certification for Dental Assistants.

  • Proven track record with at least 3 days of service availability per week.

  • Ability to provide on-call after-hours coverage for emergencies.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Current licenses and certifications.

  • Immunization records (Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, influenza, COVID-19).

  • Negative Tuberculin Skin Test (TST) or normal chest x-ray.

  • Current CPR/AED certification.

  • Criminal background check and DSS check.

  • Valid S.C. Driver’s License and proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
