Our Behavioral Health Department employs community-driven and skilled clinicians to provide integrated care in our Health Centers. Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Social Work from Accredited Institution is required.
- NYS Licensed LMSW or LCSW is required.
- 1-2 years of experience providing counseling
- Bilingual Spanish/English is required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
- Ability to identify high-risk psychosocial factors in patients and families that impact health status.
- Provides bio-psychosocial assessments and clinical diagnostic assessments.
- Conducts individual psychotherapy and counseling services to children within public schools.
- Maintains skills and knowledge in clinical theory and practice to help patients overcome dependencies, adjust to life, and make changes.
- Provides counseling to family members to assist with understanding and supporting patients.
- Engages in crisis intervention when necessary and refers patients or family to community resources.
- Provides consultation to medical providers. Collaborates with physicians to develop and implement treatment and intervention programs.
- Participates in clinical team meetings.
LMSW: Minimum $72,000 per year; Maximum $80,000 per year
LCSW: Minimum $85,000 per year; Maximum $94,000 per year
Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule:
Onsite, Bronx, Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
