Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will provide System Engineering support to a major U.S. Army command to deliver information technology engineering and design services for a globally connected Army that offers Soldiers, Commanders and supporting organizations the ability to access, process and act upon information anytime, anywhere across DODIN.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Experience planning and conducting engineering projects concerned with research, design, and development of new or modification and improvement of existing equipment's and systems applicable to PM mission.
  • Ability to apply the theories, principles, standards and information systems security methods and a working knowledge of the related engineering disciplines to evaluate system requirements, determine hardware and software design detail and performance characteristics necessary to meet operational requirements.
  • Experience recommending new designs and techniques leading to cost-effective system enhancement.
  • Proficient in analyzing specific system requirements and design modifications or deviations in hardware or software subsystems to ensure fulfillment of user related needs and will adequately resist established and projected threat environments.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Experience developing requirements for complex hardware solutions
  • Software development, Cloud, and consulting experience is a plus.
  • Experience with cyber software such as Redhat and Splunk
  • Author cyber requirements/specifications
  • CISSP certification is a plus
