At CESO, a Lead Mechanical Engineer is responsible for performing technical assignments utilizing the application of standard engineering design techniques for small to large projects. You will have primary responsibilities that include:

• Lead projects / programs from concept through completion

• Perform and ensure the production of drawings, design advanced building systems, specifications, calculations, and other analyses meet scope, timeline, cost, and quality requirements

• Review shop drawings and equipment submittals for conformance to plan documents and project specifications

• Prepare and modify studies, plans, reports, specifications, and designs for projects

• Apply local, state, and federal regulations

• Adapt engineering information, codes, and standards into the project designs and stay current on industry codes and standards

• Visit project sites to verify existing conditions and / or observe construction progress

• Attend internal and external meetings

• Other project duties as assigned

Position requirements include:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering from ABET accredited college and 10+ years of relevant experience

• Professional Engineering (PE) License is required

• Advanced knowledge and proficiency in engineering design, AEC industry, codes and standards

• Experience creating and maintaining engineering standards and tools

• Advanced knowledge in the use of AutoCAD, BlueBeam, Revu, Microsoft Office Suite and other common software
