Our hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Supervisor to join their team. In this role, you will provide leadership and clinical supervision to nursing staff and patient care assistants on your shift. You will be responsible for ensuring adequate staffing, quality patient care delivery, adherence to policies and procedures, as well as participating in nursing strategic initiatives. Additionally, you will serve as a clinical resource and role model for department personnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and clinical supervision to nursing staff and patient care assistants
  • Ensure adequate staffing for your shift
  • Deliver quality patient care in accordance with standards
  • Monitor compliance with objectives and policies
  • Participate in nursing strategic initiatives
  • Act as a clinical resource and role model for department personnel

Qualifications:

  • Program graduate from an accredited nursing program
  • 2 years of related experience
  • RN license valid in this state
  • CPR certification for healthcare professionals required
  • National certification in area of specialty preferred

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Subject to hazardous materials with the use of personal protective equipment
  • May be required to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and/or 10-20 pounds constantly
  • Working conditions subject to annual contract and appraisal
