Our financial services client is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Java/Node) to join their team.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Pay Rate: $55.00 - $70.00/hr on W2

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.

Responsibilities of the Senior Software Engineer (Java/Node):
  • Assist in coordinating multiple development work streams through integration
  • Ensure architecture is scalable, resilient, extensible, and aligned to strategic vision
  • Develop with the latest technologies and frameworks
  • Assist in identification, isolation, resolution, and communication of problems within the production and non-production environment
Requirements of the Senior Software Engineer (Java/Node):
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 7 years of hands-on software/cloud development and engineering experience
  • At least 3 years of proven experience working in complex architectural designs and technology initiatives
  • At least 2 years of experience working in agile development environment (Scrum/Kanban)
  • At least 2 years of experience in Test Driven Development
  • Experience with application development on Public Cloud
  • Experience with REST API development using NodeJS, JAVA
  • Experience with Event Driven application design and development using Kafka
  • Experience with Database development using PL/SQL for Oracle
  • Experience with API Gateway publishing with APIGEE/Stratum
  • Experience with Production Support Operations Tools like Splunk/Datadog/Kibana
  • Experience with DevOps CI/CD tools like TerraForm, Jenkins/ Jenkins Core, uDeploy, Concourse
