ServiceNow Architect

Must be able to go on-site Once a month in Rockville, MD

Position Overview:

As a ServiceNow Architect, you will lead the design, implementation, and delivery of complex ServiceNow solutions, bridging high-level architecture and hands-on development. This role combines deep technical expertise with leadership to drive project success and build strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Design and Architecture:

• Define requirements, design scalable solutions, and guide clients toward effective architectures.
• Leverage ServiceNow platform and third-party integrations to meet client needs.

1. Technical Consultation:

• Act as a trusted advisor on ServiceNow capabilities, customization, integrations, and best practices.
• Proactively address delivery challenges with innovative solutions.

1. Implementation Support:

• Ensure accurate implementation through technical oversight and code reviews.

1. Client Relationship Management:

• Build trust by anticipating client needs and delivering high-quality, future-focused solutions.

1. Integration, Automation, and Performance Optimization:

• Oversee integrations, ensure data integrity, and implement optimization best practices.

1. Quality Assurance and Security:

• Establish quality and security plans aligned with compliance requirements.

1. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

• Maintain technical documentation and foster team knowledge sharing.

1. Continuous Learning and Mentorship:

• Stay current with ServiceNow advancements, mentor team members, and contribute to best practices.

1. Business Strategy and Growth:

• Support business growth through client roadmaps and identify new opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience: 8+ years in ServiceNow architecture or implementation.
• Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, and at least two mainline certifications (e.g., CIS - ITSM, Discovery).

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency across ServiceNow applications and third-party integrations.
• Strong scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript) and complex solution design skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
