Patient Population:

Patient Ratios:  1: 3 couplets

Number of Beds: 36

Unit selling points: 4000 deliveries per year. Couplet Care Model. Lactation Consultants. Outstanding employee engagement. Member of Texas Ten Step Program. Perinatal Internship.

Registered Nurse Requirements  

  • At least one year of RN experience in Mother/Baby, level III or higher within a similar sized facility (bed) and couplet care (3-4)

  • Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program 

  • License/Certification  

  • RN- Registered Nurse 

  • BLS- Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire) 

  • NRP- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (required within 30 days of hire)
