PURPOSE The field service technical support specialist provides customer satisfaction technical support and administrative support to the Field Service Department to ensure department needs are consistently and efficiently met.
DELIVERABLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Customer Experience Excellence:
- Cultivate strong relationships with both new and existing customers, exceeding their expectations in every interaction.
- Handle inbound and outbound customer calls and written correspondence with professionalism and attention to detail.
- Provide technical support and demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of products to assist customers effectively.
- Maintain a customer-centric approach and uphold the company's reputation through exemplary customer service practices.
- Administrative Support:
- Assist in managing Salesforce cases and monthly reporting, monitoring work orders, sales orders, and RMA's.
- Maintain and organize customer sales orders and information for easy accessibility.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized Field Service Department to enhance operational efficiency.
- Additional Duties:
- Assist in scheduling service appointments and managing travel arrangements and calendars for field service technicians.
- Provide support in expense report processing.
- Undertake any other tasks or projects assigned by the management to support departmental objectives.
- Associates Degree and 2+ years of experience in customer satisfaction/and or sales; or equivalent
- combination of education, training, and/or experience
- Superior interpersonal and communications skills (oral & written)
- Electromechanical aptitude (highly desired)
- Customer oriented, able to work in a fast paced environment while dealing with stressful situations
- Computer skills; email & general business software (e.g. MS Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Highly motivated and results oriented individual able to work independently and as a team.
