Position Summary: Perform various sub-assembly and assembly tasks of basic complexity.

  • Prepare work by reviewing assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists
  • Position and assemble parts and subassemblies using templates and measurements
  • Assist in building prototypes and basic assembly projects as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Contribute to team effort by training others in basic assembly tasks

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to safely use small hand and power tools
  • Read and interpret Drawings and Bills of Material
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to understand instructions in English

Education/Experience:

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience
  • 0-1 year experience in a manufacturing environment desirable

Physical Demands: The work is classified as Medium-Heavy Physical Demand Level (PDL) by the US Dept of Labor
