QA Analyst

Job Role: QA Analyst with Shell Scripting - 10+yrs
Location: Remote (USA)
Job Description:
• Conduct thorough and detailed quality assurance testing of company products to ensure they meet organization standards and end-user requirements.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various types of testing such as functional, regression, performance, and integration.
• Document and evaluate test results, track and manage defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Continuously improve QA testing processes to enhance test coverage, improve efficiency, and reduce errors.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Provide guidance and support to junior QA analysts, fostering a team environment.
• Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance role with a proven track record in QA methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of software QA tools, processes, and best practices.
• Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Advanced understanding of databases, including SQL and NoSQL.
• Proficiency in automation tools like Selenium, Appium, and Cypress.
• Expertise in UNIX/Linux environments, including shell scripting and virtualization.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Agile methodology adherence with flexibility to adapt in dynamic environments.
