Our collaborative HR department is looking for a conscientious, self-disciplined, and well-organized HR Specialist to work in the Jacksonville office and to be an integral member of the team. The successful candidate will be an articulate and diplomatic communicator who is proactive and able to handle multiple priorities. This person will be supporting company and department initiatives while providing excellent customer service to our employees.

The HR Specialist will be assisting in a variety of areas including but not limited to: onboarding, recruiting, benefit questions, training, events, general questions on HR documents and policies, maintenance of employee files, reporting, and company communications.

  • Bachelor's degree (equivalent work experience will be considered.)
  • At least 2 years of HR experience.
  • An understanding of HR laws and practices.
  • Must have excellent computer skills and be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with a HRIS is required. (ADP preferred)
  • Proficient planning, time management, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of an organization.
  • Must have the ability to organize and prioritize projects in a fast-paced changing business environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
