The Clinical Supervisor (RN) is responsible for leading a local team of nurses, social workers, and care coordinators in Ohio. This role monitors and oversees all aspects of performance for the interdisciplinary care team. The Clinical Supervisor (RN) collaborates with clinical teams to develop and implement care plans for our patient population, while also driving continuous improvement in clinical operations.

Location: Remote (Preferred home location in Ohio for local community knowledge). Travel may be required up to 50%.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise clinical staff, providing guidance, support, and performance oversight.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate patient care activities and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Oversee staff scheduling, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet patient needs.
  • Facilitate staff training and professional development, promoting ongoing education and adherence to best practices.
  • Address patient and family concerns, advocating for quality care and service excellence.
  • Monitor patient care metrics and implement improvement initiatives as needed.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, contributing to quality improvement projects and operational strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Stay current with advancements in nursing practice and healthcare regulation.
  • Facilitate collaboration with health plan care managers.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all patient contacts.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree (or higher).
  • Current active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the State of practice (Ohio) without any disciplinary action.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years leading and managing teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing practices, standards, and healthcare regulations.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team effectively.
  • Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare technology.
  • Experience with escalated customer service issue resolution.
  • Knowledge & proficiency of Microsoft Office products.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Strong people skills to develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and create solutions in a start-up environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to create and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire teams, while building strong employee engagement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Management, or Health Care Administration
  • Managed care experience preferred
  • Hospice or Palliative care experience preferred
