Responsibilities: • Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients • Perform legal research, prepare for and attend hearings or other legal proceedings, and give general counsel under the supervision of senior associate attorneys • Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently Qualifications: • Applicants must have successfully passed the state bar exam • Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients • Completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school • Prepared to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base • Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association) • Must be in Good Standing with the Georgia Bar. • Must have experience in family law, business litigation, AND/OR business/corporate law. • We are not seeking individuals who only have experience in personal injury, insurance defense, medical malpractice, employment law, and criminal law, respectfully. Compensation: $80,000 yearly plus bonus
