Department: Palliative/Hospice Care
Reports To: Supervising Physician & Director/Associate Director of Physician Offices
Job Summary: Responsibilities of APRN under general supervision of provider.
Our Hospital based Palliative/Hospice Care department is seeking a full-time APRN . Palliative or Hospice certified preferred but not required.
Keys to Success in this Role:
- Evaluate patients and treat health conditions
- Complete documentation in a timely manner
- Enter charges
- Assist supervising provider with completion of tasks
- Assist in call rotation
- Ensure tasks, labs, and diagnostics have been reviewed and addressed as needed
- Attend all required meetings/conferences
- Licensed APRN with the State of Florida
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong computer proficiency
- Ability to plan ahead, organize, and manage multiple priorities
- Must be willing to travel to multiple Hospital locations
- Normal physical ability
- Above average concentration and high level complexity of decision making
- High level verbal and written communication skills
- Tolerance to stressful situations
- High risk exposure to bloodborne pathogens and chemical hazards
