We are in search of a Commercial Lines Account Executive to join our client's insurance agency team. This pivotal role involves overseeing client servicing and marketing operations, creating underwriting submissions, evaluating and comparing insurance quotes, and skillfully negotiating policy terms and conditions. This is an excellent opportunity to engage with clients and deliver top-tier insurance solutions in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Position Overview:
The Account Executive will manage and enhance client relations and service delivery for our client's insurance agency. The successful candidate will handle all facets of both new and renewal business, including documentation, record management, and client processing activities. You will collaborate closely with team members and leaders to develop and administer insurance programs tailored to both current and prospective clients.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to a 120-day renewal schedule and manage tight deadlines in competitive scenarios for prospective clients.
- Collect and analyze underwriting details, including renewal applications and coverage requirements.
- Prepare and submit insurance proposals, evaluate competing quotes, and ensure alignment between policy documents and initial quotations.
- Handle premium billing and financing, and issue Certificates of Insurance and Auto ID Cards.
- Oversee the distribution and review of endorsements and respond promptly to client inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the Agency Management System and assist the team leader with client retention strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Agency Management Systems, preferably Applied Systems (Applied EPIC highly desirable).
- A robust understanding of property and casualty insurance coverages and the procedures for handling new and renewal business.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks.
- Effective under pressure, capable of meeting tight deadlines.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-friendly demeanor and the ability to foster relationships with clients, underwriters, and team members.
- A Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Valid Property & Casualty Insurance License.
- Professional insurance designations such as ARM, CIC, CPCU are preferred.
