What You’ll Take Ownership Of:
  1. Collaborate with customers to cultivate a robust safety culture within their organizations.
  2. Provide expert guidance and support to customers on safety and environmental compliance matters.
  3. Develop customized safety programs and training modules based on client needs, utilizing available training resources.
  4. Conduct dynamic and interactive safety training sessions at client sites, offices, or at Acme Tools facilities.
  5. Establish and maintain rapport with Safety Directors and management of client companies, fostering trust and confidence in our services.
  6. Utilize your expertise to interpret construction plans and specifications, offering insights and recommendations on safety measures.
  7. Attend and contribute to construction progress meetings at the request of customers, offering valuable input on safety considerations.
  8. Specialize in key safety categories including fall protection, respiratory equipment, eye protection, hard hats, firestop, mining safety, OSHA safety training, silica dust compliance, welding, and painting.
  9. Develop strategies and business plans for growth in safety categories, driving initiatives to achieve short and long-term revenue goals.
  10. Ensure accurate and competitive pricing across safety categories, providing valuable insights to purchasing teams.
  11. Train and support Acme Tools sales teams in all aspects of safety products, serving as a resource for product knowledge and sales strategies.
  12. Act as the face of Acme Tools, representing the company at association meetings and industry events as assigned.
  13. Commitment to ongoing education and staying up to date with the latest industry trends.
  14. Assist B2B customers to establish and maintain strong relationships with client companies, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored safety solutions.
  15. Assist the stores with product selection as well as forecasting and recommending new products.
  16. Responsible for driving sales through targeted categories.

Need-To-Haves:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of industry experience with an emphasis on safety and compliance
  • Strong leadership skills to effectively communicate, coach, train, motivate, and develop employees
  • Proven experience in B2B customer relationship management and sales
  • Ability to travel overnight 25-30%
  • Previous sales experience
Love-To-Haves:
  • The ability to analyze blueprints and plans to recommend appropriate products
  • Previous outside sales experience
  • Experience with coaching and training internal employees
  • Prior knowledge or use of tools and equipment
