Job Description:

VVater is seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of IT systems, software administration, and cybersecurity. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage various technical tasks, provide robust IT support, and ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage security measures to protect data, systems, and networks and respond to security incidents and breaches. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with security policies.

  • Manage IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems. Perform regular system maintenance and backups. Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures. Provide comprehensive IT support across all software, hardware, and network components, ensuring the smooth operation and integration of all IT systems, including printers, phones, etc.

  • Manage and administer MS365, Azure, Exchange, Teams, Endpoint, Intune, and other cloud services, ensuring optimal performance and security.

  • Develop and maintain APIs, ensuring seamless integration between systems. Write and maintain scripts using CSS, Java, and other coding languages—work on AI-related projects and implementations, developing and integrating AI solutions into existing systems.

  • Manage IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems, perform regular system maintenance and backups, and ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.

  • Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures, ensuring all users comply with established protocols.

  • Oversee all IT equipment's installation, configuration, and maintenance, including servers, networks, and peripheral devices.

  • Conduct regular system audits and generate reports on IT system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.

  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.

  • Develop disaster recovery plans and ensure data integrity and system availability in the event of a failure.

  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential impact on the organization and recommending adoption.

  • Manage and maintain Wi-Fi systems, ensuring reliable and secure connectivity throughout the organization.

  • Administer and maintain access control systems, ensuring secure and authorized access to facilities.

  • Manage and maintain camera systems, ensuring effective surveillance and security monitoring.

  • Other functions, tasks, or responsibilities as designated by the company.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Systems Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and software administration.
  • Experience with cybersecurity principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in administering cloud services (MS365, Azure, Exchange, Teams, Endpoint, Intune).
  • Experience with CRM, CPQ, and channel partner software.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Extensive experience with API development, CSS, Java, coding, and AI technologies. Ability to develop, integrate, and maintain complex systems and applications.
  • Broad experience in IT, software, hardware, and general technical support, with the capability to handle a wide range of IT tasks and responsibilities.
  • The ability to learn new technologies, software, and hardware systems without extensive intervention and or guidance.

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

  • Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Security Administrator Associate

  • Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Modern Desktop Administrator Associate

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

  • ITIL Intermediate
