Description

An Assembler is responsible for putting together component parts or pieces adhering to a specified set of blueprints or schematics. They verify the correct quantities of components parts and quality checking completed items, manage parts inventory and use hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products and structures.

We are hiring for 1st [6A-2P] shift

Key Responsibilities

  • Picks up, moves and sorts parts
  • Manually assemble parts
  • Uses tools and jigs to manipulate parts for assembly
  • Clean Baseplate
  • Assemble Airend to Baseplate
  • Assemble Interstage Pipes to Baseplate and Airend
  • Assemble Intercoolers to Baseplate
  • Assemble Motor to Baseplate
  • Align Motor to Airend
  • Perform routine mechanical assembly
  • Read and understand blue prints
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Follow verbal and written instructions
  • Work in a team environment
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be friendly, courteous, service-oriented, and flexible and enjoy working with a variety of staff.
  • Must be detail-oriented and work effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlines.
  • Must be able to work independently and productively with minimum supervision; work well under pressure; able to manage multiple projects.
  • Firm commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills including ability to listen attentively and to communicate information clearly and effectively Interpersonal savvy; able to collaborate and work closely with others
