SUMMARY:

Coordinate SAP requirements from departments and support departments in all SAP activities. Collaborate with internal and external organizational units (including internationally) to develop, train and improve business processes and standards with the goal of increasing overall departmental and plant efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Follows and supports all Company Safety policies and procedures
  • Support of day-to-day business operations in connection with SAP business processes in Supply Chain Management, Production Planning and Material Management modules or similar.
  • Support for the connection and operation of third-party applications that are connected to SAP via an interface
  • Business process analysis and optimization based on the requirements of the business departments (e.g. Procurement, Operations, Production, ...)
  • Guidance and support for SAP master data management and workflows
  • Interdepartmental support and coordination of all SAP activities.
  • Documentation of activities in the context of reporting requirements (Scope Of Work) and IT service management
  • Implementation and coordination of trainings in the SAP environment (including the creation of training materials)
  • Project management for SAP projects
  • Participation in integration tests and/or coordination of integration tests in 4/HANA
  • First and second level support in connection with SAP problems
  • Communication with the central IT company (Germany) and either travelling to Europe as needed or training remotely with the central IT Company.
  • Increasing customer satisfaction
  • Avoidance of disruptions in the IT systems through prevention
  • Optimization of the IT cost-benefit ratio for the company

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of several SAP modules and the inner works is always a plus.
  • Applicant should display strong organizational, problem solving and leadership skills.
  • Should be detail oriented, team player and can work professionally with directors, managers, and employees.
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn at least one or two SAP modules.
  • Basic experience in analyzing and optimizing business processes (e.g. in logistics or production)
  • Project management experience
Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • 3+ years' related experience in SAP
  • Experience with data collection and analysis
  • Experience with SAP/ERP systems and how it relates to business processes
  • Experience in system analysis and design


Computer and Technology Skills:

The successful candidate will be proficient in MS Office applications, windows 10 or higher, windows server and familiar with MS SQL Scripting. Understanding of database relationships.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. German language speaking skills is another advantage.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and ability to apply concepts such as: fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
