Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Java Developer to join our expanding full-stack team. In this role, you will provide technical leadership and direction while coaching and mentoring junior engineers. You will oversee the end-to-end development process, resolve complex technical challenges, and ensure high-quality deliverables. Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in complex development, design, and implementation activities.

• Serve as a technical leader, coaching and mentoring junior engineers.

• Ensure the viability and quality of IT deliverables, recommending and approving technical solutions.

• Perform root cause analysis and resolve technical issues promptly.

• Maintain a deep understanding of IT development methodologies, architecture design, and standards.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to address project issues and implications.

• Evaluate change requests and their technological impact, effectively influencing decisions.

• Review and approve team documentation, diagrams, and processes.

• Identify opportunities for improving technical standards and methodologies.

• Participate in design, code, and test inspections throughout the software lifecycle.

• Present technical statuses and address issues during milestone reviews.

Required Qualifications

• At least 8 years of related work experience, with a minimum of 3 years in full-stack development.

• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Angular, Node.js, and GraphQL.

• Expertise in AWS cloud services and familiarity with Apache and Tomcat web servers.

• Experience with modern front-end technologies, including JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Strong understanding of Atlassian tools like Confluence, Jira, and Bamboo.

• Growth mindset with a passion for modernizing technologies and methodologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Splunk for monitoring and analytics.

• Experience working with third-party vendors.

• Proven success in modernizing UI and data applications.

Certifications

• AWS Certifications (Preferred)
