We are currently conducting a search for a Product Development Specialist (RFID) for a large global group serving an international clientele consisting of some of the largest brands in the world. This role offers a great salary, excellent benefits and tremendous growth opportunities.

What You'll Do:
• Assess market dynamics and requirements, internal capabilities, and technology trends to proactively define innovative and disruptive products that resonate across a broad range of strategic customers
• Provides technical guidance for the development of evolving RFID product applications to ensure they meet market requirements.
• Responsible for the design, test, and evaluation of product applications
• Design and perform application test plans and report out findings in articulate manner understandable by customers.
• Develop innovative product offerings to solve market application needs.
• Conduct Feasibility studies on existing products to determine their usefulness for alternative applications.
• Ensure developed applications are within customers price range and manufacturable at high volume in company's global locations.
• Work with management to determine emerging markets and proactively develop solutions and applications.
• Work directly with several hardware and software systems including readers, printers, handhelds, etc.
• Build quick-turn prototypes to support business development activities.
• Experience with RFID design a plus.
• Comfortable working independently or as part of a project team with diverse cultures across multiple geographic locations.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Bring:
• Bachelor of Science degree with at least 6 years experience in product development
• Experienced with bringing new products to market
• Experienced using the scientific method to collect data, interpret data and translate to real world benefits and outcomes.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology a plus
• Understanding of various manufacturing methods especially printing, laminating and converting.
• Understanding of Radio Frequency and antenna theory, specifically with Ultra High Frequency is a plus
• Interest in new technologies and their applications
• Ability to serve as a main contact point and interact directly with customers in an advisory role.
