PURPOSE

To assist in the operations of the Chiropractic Sciences Department by performing various office tasks.

Duties / Responsibilities
  1. Ability to work with and maintain confidential employee and office information.
  2. Collaborate with Supervisor to solidify and follow work schedule.
  3. Assist with set up or take down of models in classrooms.
  4. Open and prep/distribute mail.
  5. Assist in reorganizing old office spaces.
  6. Assist with hallway monitoring during MT’s and Finals.
  7. Check technique rooms for face paper and restock as needed.
  8. Assist in maintaining organization of office supplies and materials in all buildings (CCE, CGUS, Harris, and MOD 7A/B). May be asked to retrieve and/or count and keep track of inventory.
  9. Assist with errands such as pick-up or delivery of supplies and or office supplies.
  10. Answer the telephone and take messages.
  11. Take maintenance requests from faculty members and place work orders.
  12. Serve in the front lobby as a concierge to greet and host walk-ins, field calls, and more.
  13. Report hours worked in ADP each week, on time.
  14. Submit payroll or hours worked via ADP and track work study award funding.
  15. Provide supervisor with a Work Study Referral form each quarter.
Required Qualifications
  1. Must be a Life University student who is eligible for work-study funds.
  2. Worker must have good organizational, communication, and typing skills.
  3. Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrate courtesy and professional demeanor with student and staff.
  4. Positive, flexible, and empathetic approach to problem solving.
  5. Reliable and punctual.


Physical Demands

1. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
