Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 per week
Experience: Minimum 2 years required
License: Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state of work and residence; if declaring a National License Compact (NLC) state as primary state of residency, meet licensure requirements in home state
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Must-Have: Med/Tele experience, Fluent in English (speak, read, write)

Job Description:

- Collect data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health or situation.
- Analyze assessment data to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues.
- Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or the situation.
- Develop a plan that prescribes strategies to attain expected, measurable outcomes.
- Implement the identified plan, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
- Delegate elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with any applicable legal or policy parameters or principles.
- Evaluate progress toward attainment of goals and outcomes.
- Practice in a manner that is congruent with cultural diversity and inclusion principles.
- Communicate effectively in all areas of practice.
- Collaborate with healthcare consumers and other key stakeholders in the conduct of nursing practice.
- Demonstrate leadership in the professional practice setting and the profession.
- Seek knowledge and competence reflecting current nursing practice and promote futuristic thinking.
- Integrate evidence and research findings into practice.
- Contribute to quality nursing practice.
- Evaluate own and others' nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards and guidelines, relevant statutes, rules, and regulations.
- Utilize appropriate resources to plan, provide, and sustain evidence-based nursing services that are safe, effective, and fiscally responsible.
- Practice in an environmentally safe and healthy manner.
- Practice ethically.
- Promote shared governance or facility decision-making activities, developing and nurturing research to positively affect clinical outcomes and promotion.

Physical Requirements:

- Work requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling.
- Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.
- Intact sense of sight, hearing, smell, and touch. Finger dexterity.
- Critical thinking and ability to concentrate. Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.

- RTO NOT Approved for 4th of July (7/3-7/5), Labor Day Weekend (Fri-Mon) (8/30-9/2), Halloween (10/31), and only 1 Holiday for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year Eve.
