Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Sr. SQL Developer will be responsible for developing solutions and ad-hoc deliverables using the My SQL and Maria DB platforms.
  • Design SQL databases to support business applications, ensuring system scalability, security, performance, and reliability.
  • Develop database architectural strategies at the modeling, design, and implementation stages to address business requirements.
  • Develop advanced and optimized SQL stored procedures and functions.
  • Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
  • Develop data models for applications, metadata tables, views, or related database structures.
  • Stay up to date with latest trends and technologies in MySQL development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in the full life cycle of designing and developing databases and applications using MySQL.
  • Must have a strong understanding of relational database concepts, including database design, normalization and indexing.
  • Experience with version control such as Git, SVN
  • Knowledge of other database technologies such as Oracle or Postgres is a plus.
