Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for Disability Assessments

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform Disability Assessments on US Veterans as part of the VA's benefits process. You will review medical records electronically, perform physical exams, and document exam findings for the VA. You will not be responsible for making disability determinations or prescribing medication. This is a part-time, in-person position that will perform exams on 3-5 Veterans per day on a set schedule.
- The ideal candidate is interested in performing Independent Medical Assessments and able to analyze data to form medical opinions.
- You must hold a current and unrestricted NP or PA license and be proficient in computer use.
Benefits include training and continued support, as well as health insurance options. All work is performed in a clinical setting during normal business hours, with no on-call responsibilities.
