How you'll make an impact:

  • Must be able to review and approve timecards, compute wages, reconcile wages, overtime, and other types of pay with accuracy and company compliance

  • Facilitate new employee orientation collaborating with Training & Development team

  • Administer direct labor compensation, benefits, and employee performance management

  • Work closely with Manufacturing Supervisors to identify candidates, schedule interviews, and onboard employees

  • Inform managers of new human resource initiatives and coordinate their introduction and implementation for direct labor employees

  • Filing of employee documents, creating employee files, handling of employee attendance occurrence administration

  • Work with line groups, Human Resources Business Partner and other staff to develop and implement positive human resource initiatives and to increase customer satisfaction

  • Be a change agent in the organization and support managers and employees during system and process transformation

  • Assists with employee engagement and employee recognition activities

  • Employee training and data input such as new hire documentation tracking and filing

  • Process HR-related service tickets

  • Provide employee customer service and support

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or business administration, with 1 year of experience, or associate's degree in human resources or business administration with 3 years' experience

  • Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required

  • Microsoft Office experience preferred

  • Workday experience preferred

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel

  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
