Due to our incredible growth plans, SolidProfessor is seeking a junior-level Product Manager with a proven track record of defining, designing, and implementing a comprehensive product strategy to deliver enterprise products in a collaborative environment. As our Product Manager, you will bring deep experience in crafting products that deliver desired business and user outcomes while minimizing risk. The role functions in a pod structure in a partnership with design, engineering, and quality assurance teams as the product moves to completion and deployment. This role will focus on developing new and existing products, improving our learning offerings, and use creative approaches to drive learner adoption and retention. The Product Manager will use influence, communication skills and expertise to promote an atmosphere of cohesiveness and focused collaboration between all the members of the team in the interest of driving development of the product forward.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN THIS PRODUCT MANAGER ROLE?
- Fill Scrum Product Owner role in a cross-functional pod to deliver impactful outcomes for our customers and business.
- Own and refine a product backlog to define and drive deliverables in alignment with business priorities.
- Provide transparent communication with stakeholders on status and to resolve any questions or issues.
- Write user stories to produce products exceeding customer expectations.
- Collaborate with Senior Product Managers, development resources and stakeholders to complete user story mapping sessions.
- Use influence to guide discussions to achieve consensus and advance action items.
- Lead example mapping sessions to drive the pod towards a collective understanding between product and engineering teams.
- Ensure successful feature delivery in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Maintain oversight of expected outcomes post feature delivery to drive data-driven improvement.
- Encourages use of innovative technologies and industry-leading trends in product management activities.
WHAT DO YOU NEED FOR SUCCESS IN THIS PRODUCT MANAGER ROLE?
- Bachelor's Degree (required)
- 3+ years of experience building and shipping customer-facing products in a team environment.
- 3+ years working in an Agile environment with experience in Scrum.
- 2 + years' experience as a Product Owner on a Scrum team.
- Experience in the Learning Management System space.
- Experience managing a SaaS product.
- Experience with Amplitude, Heap, Mixpanel, Pendo or other product analytics tools
- Strong ability to analyze and interpret data.
- Champion of data-driven decision making.
- Confident in a technical environment with ability to earn trust with engineers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for design and usability.
- Highly independent and pragmatic.
- Autonomous, self-driven, detail-oriented, excellent communicator with outstanding time management and interpersonal skills (empathetic, team player, problem solver with excellent conflict management skills)
- Flexible, adaptable, assertive, and persuasive, as well as the ability to learn quickly, multitask, analyze, and prioritize responsibilities

SolidProfessor has determined that the annual new hire range for this role is between $88,000 and $132,000. Your base pay will be based on a number of factors, including knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Since we appreciate transparency, we are sharing that we expect to hire for this position up to mid-range (dependent on experience/location), which will allow you the opportunity to progress as you grow in your career.
