Position Summary:

The BingePass Product Marketing Coordinator collaborates and supports the BingePass team in promotion of the BingePass format for digital consumption. This includes collaborating with the BingePass Marketing Manager to launch new products in the category and support the ongoing promotion of the format to increase engagement and grow revenue.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this position successfully, an individual must fulfill the knowledge, skill, and/or ability requirements listed below.

  1. Assists the BingePass team in the prioritization of vendors and their titles for promotion in marquees, collections, social media, and other potential channels.
  2. Curates and creates noteworthy and in-demand promotions for libraries and patrons.
  3. Collaborates with others on the team to seek opportunities to drive sales and improve the overall quality of the category.
  4. Manage project timelines and assign tasks to team members through Jira.
  5. Drive specific product launches from inception to completion.
  6. Assists in the development of promotional materials.
    1. Works with designers, copywriters, and other staff to ensure messaging and imagery are true to the Midwest Tape/hoopla brands and help our libraries connect with patrons.
  7. Interfaces with vendors in a support role.
  8. Uploads collections, titles, and marketing assets to the website.
  9. Conducts ongoing reviews of the hoopla website and hoopla title information for errors or misinformation and informs IT or data on updates to be addressed.
  10. Gathers and uses data to make thoughtful marketing recommendations and decisions.
  11. Conducts special projects as required by the lead/manager.

Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic Computer skills, including Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Must demonstrate strong attention to detail
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills
  • Must have the ability to read/review publications for relevant title and industry information
  • Must possess solid research skills
  • Must possess the ability to work independently
  • Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills with an ability to meet deadlines
Preferred Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, library science or a related field is required or equivalent experience.
Preferred Experience:
  • 1-3 years of marketing experience
