The Sales Analytics Specialist will primarily support Sales Funnel Management, Pricing, and Operations initiatives. Within this role, sales analytics responsibilities will include developing and recommending sales strategies and procedures to optimize performance utilizing internal and external data. Contribution to the pricing strategy will include executing regional analysis, supporting the implementation of price increases, and reporting on increase realization progress. This role will support Operations through data collection, report creation, and results analysis that will be used in daily management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform ongoing Operations analysis and monitoring of actual performance to forecasted plan, identify significant variances, take corrective actions, and document key assumptions.
  • Provide timely and accurate response to demand and forecast related inquiries from all areas of the organization, including day-to-day resolution of critical issues affecting Operations.
  • Develop critical planning tools, key reports, and provide analytical support to Senior Leadership to make decisions, develop and execute key initiatives, and project short term and long-term performance.
  • Identify pricing best practices, automate analytics, and generate operational efficiency with rep partners.
  • Lead deployment of cross-functional pricing initiatives, coordinating overall effort of Pricing Analysts and Finance Pricing Specialists
  • Contribute to price increase processes.
  • Analyze and collect sales forecast data used for production planning and commercial forecasting.
  • Update monthly, quarterly, and annual reports related to sales forecasts and ensure data has been recorded accurately.
  • Develop and present insightful analysis utilizing business analytics and data to develop points of view, identify opportunities, and make recommendations to all levels of the organization.
  • Maintain core data tables that drive forecast calculations in Tableau and serve as subject matter expert on forecast creation.
  • Develop scalable reporting and dashboards to monitor leading and lagging indicators.
  • Complete special projects and ad-hoc requests as assigned.
Job Specification: (Education, training, and experience)
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Math, Statistics, Economics or other related field, or relevant experience.
  • Professional Tableau exposure with focus to detail, analytics and process.
  • 3-5 years' experience in planning / forecasting / sales analysis
  • Strong skillset to lead and facilitate meetings with a diverse audience, quickly synthesizing information to help drive consensus and actionable items.
  • Working knowledge of demand planning / forecasting / inventory management software.
  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially advance Excel knowledge.
  • Prioritizes workload and maintains accuracy in all work while managing multiple tasks / projects with adherence to critical deadlines.
  • Drives to find the best solutions, incorporating innovation and efficiency improvements where feasible.
