- MultiCare Mary Bridge Children's Cardiology, performing fetal, pediatric and adult echocardiography studies on patients with congenital and acquired heart disease.
- with Philips and GE ultrasound machines and carry out all routine/urgent echocardiography procedures according to laboratory protocols
- Maintain patient records, exam data, and procedure observations
- Review studies and create preliminary reports for the interpreting physicians
- Requires knowledge of complex congenital heart defects and surgical repairs
- Fetal echocardiography experience is preferred but not required
FTE: 1.0, Shift: Days, Schedule: Mon - Fri, Core Business Hours
Position Summary
The Sonographer is an excellent opportunity at MultiCare, performing ultrasound and echocardiography studies. You will work together with the Imaging team to ensure the most comprehensive and compassionate imaging care for patients.Responsibilities
- You will possess knowledge and skill with all ultrasound machines and carry out all routine/emergency ultrasound and Echocardiography procedures
- You will demonstrate competency in pre-procedural patient assessment
- You will explain procedure to the patient to give a feeling of comfort and reassurance
Requirements
- Satisfactory completion of a formal ultrasound technology training program
- Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovasular Credentialing International
- If registry pending, must complete appropriate registration within 12 months from date of employment
- Previous experience as an Ultrasonographer or Echocardigrapher preferred
- Current BLS Certification

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $51.21 - $73.69 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
