With a strong understanding of information technology, the Network Administrator is responsible for assisting with network, desktop and project support. A strong understanding of network infrastructure, communications, pc's, Microsoft Stack, Dell Technologies as well as project management concepts.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary.
  • Configure, maintain and troubleshoot all Servers
  • Assist in evaluating the organization's technology use and needs and recommend improvements, such as hardware, software, and network upgrades or reconfiguration.
  • Configure, monitor, and maintain email applications and virus protection software.
  • Assist with technical support for voice services and equipment, such as private branch exchange, voice mail system, and telecom system.
  • Maintain logs related to network functions, as well as maintenance and repair records.
  • Monitor data backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • Assist with daily Helpdesk calls and requests. Provide users with technical support for computer problems, initial setup, and basic systems training.
  • Implement and maintain system hardware and software solutions or assist with the work and coordination of software and hardware consultants, communications service providers, technicians, and vendors to ensure service level standards are met and provided solutions and support are effective.
  • Stay abreast of advances in technology to ensure continuous improvement and best practices that result in more efficient business processes.
  • Assist in tracking and maintaining activities for asset management, license renewals, service contracts, and warranties for parts and services.
  • Assist in the maintenance and updating of operating/training manuals for the IT Department.
  • Comply with all company Quality, HACCP, GMP and Food Safety Standards.
  • Responsible for 24 hr. emergency service as needed or a business requires.
  • Manage IT related projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Network Administration
  • Knowledge and understanding of Systems, Hardware, Networking and cloud services.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Servers
  • Deep understanding of server topologies
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft O365 administration and domain controllers
  • Previous IT/IS experience in food manufacturing is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of VOIP cloud PBX systems a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Complex Problem Solving and Analytical skills
  • Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or relevant certifications are required or equivalent experience
