Verification Engineer

Our client, a leading technology company, is seeking a Verification Engineer to join their team. As a Verification Engineer, you will be part of the Electrical Engineering department supporting the FPGA design used in high-end router products. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Electrical Engineering, 7-8 years of pure verification experience in ASIC/FPGAs, and proficiency in SystemVerilog with clear OOP concepts. Job Title: Verification Engineer Location: Milpitas, CA Pay Rate: $80/hour W2 What's the Job? Own verification of entire FPGA design used in high-end router products Understand the design specification and interact with design engineers to identify verification scenarios Create test plan, constrained-random verification environment, test cases, regressions, and coverage reports Identify and write all types of coverage measures for stimulus and corner-cases Verify IP integrations, strategies, corner cases, and slow speed interfaces like I2C, SPI, MDIO etc. What's Needed? Strong academic background in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor's required, Master's preferred) 7+ years of pure verification experience in ASIC/FPGAs Proficient in SystemVerilog with clear OOP concepts Experience developing object-oriented testbench infrastructure, BFMs, test cases in UVM Ability to independently develop test plans, test sequences, generate stimuli, and collaborate with RTL designers to debug failures What's in it for me?
