Imaging Associates is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist for our Anchorage, Eagle River, and Palmer, Alaska locations.

At Imaging Associates you'll find a team of friendly and experienced sonographers leveraging the latest GE ultrasound technology for unsurpassed diagnostic accuracy. Both of our locations are ACR-accredited Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence Studies performed at Imaging Associates include General, OB/GYN, Small Parts, and Breast. We are also a comprehensive vascular lab. Work closely with our breast imaging team who leverage 3D mammography (Breast Tomography), breast MRI, ultrasound, and breast biopsy.

They are the only Alaskan radiology group having radiologists with dedicated fellowship training in every major imaging sub-specialty, including interventional radiology (IR), neuroradiology, musculoskeletal imaging, women's imaging, body imaging, magnetic resonance imaging, pediatric radiology and nuclear medicine. One fourth of ARA radiologists have dual fellowship training.
Responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring the safety and comfort of patients
  • Providing sonograms and oral or written summaries of technical findings to physician for use in medical diagnosis
  • Operating ultrasound equipment to produce and record images of motion, shape and composition of blood, organs, tissues, or masses such as fluid accumulations
  • Maintaining records that include patient information, sonographs, and interpretations, files of correspondence, and other related documents/reports.
Requirements
  • ARDMS registered, RVT and Breast preferred
  • Current BLS
  • 1+ years of experience, post education, required. 3 years desired.
