The Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Client Data Analyst to join our Finance team. In this role, you will use your analytical expertise to help us extract insights from large data sets, identify trends, and support the organization in making data-backed decisions. Your contributions will drive improvements in product development, marketing effectiveness, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

What you'll do:

Data Collection & Cleaning
  • Gather data from multiple sources, including databases, APIs, and third-party platforms.
  • Ensure data quality through rigorous data cleaning, verification, and transformation.
  • Maintain and update data sources, ensuring reliable and accurate data for analysis.
Data Analysis & Interpretation
  • Use statistical tools and software to analyze data and generate insights.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and correlations in large data sets to inform business strategies.
  • Translate data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
Reporting & Visualization
  • Develop dashboards and reports using data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Present complex data insights in a simple, visually appealing format for various audiences.
  • Provide regular reports to management, including key metrics and performance indicators.
Collaborative Decision-Making
  • Work with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, CS) to support data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and track KPIs aligned with business objectives.
  • Offer recommendations for process improvements based on data insights.
Predictive & Statistical Modelling
  • Create and implement predictive models to forecast trends and support future planning.
  • Conduct hypothesis testing and A/B testing to evaluate the impact of new initiatives.
  • Apply machine learning techniques where applicable to enhance data analysis.
Data Governance & Security
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal data security protocols.
  • Implement best practices for data management and storage.
  • Collaborate with IT to maintain data integrity and security.
Who you are:
  • You have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in finance or data analysis. Experience in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), or accounting is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Meticulous approach to data accuracy, validation, and reporting.
  • Ability to think critically and develop solutions to technical and analytical challenges.

The Interview Process:

Every role starts the same, an introductory call with someone from our Talent Acquisition team. We will be looking for company and values-fit as well as your professional experience; there may be some technical role-specific questions during this call.

Every role is different after the initial call, but you can expect to meet several people from the team 1:1 and there might be further skill assessments in the form of a Take Home Assignment/Case Study Presentation or Pair Programming/Live Coding exercise depending on the role. In your initial call, we will walk you through exactly what to expect the process to be.
