Husky TechnologiesTM United States manufacturing facility is located in Milton, Vermont on a large, beautiful campus located just 30 minutes north of downtown Burlington, Vermont. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating the shipping functions of the business. Specifically, you will determine work priorities and ensure projects and orders are shipped on time. This involves prioritizing work based on daily project requirements and the status of inventories and scheduled shipments. In addition, you will manage inventory of packaging materials and be knowledgeable in the requirements of international customs documentation.
Key Responsibilities
* Focus and prioritize work based on the daily project requirements and understand the status of inventories and scheduled shipments. Follow up, when required, with internal/external contacts on discrepancies and shortages
* Coordinate the pick-up and return of all customer shipments
* Maintain 100% quality of all product shipping to our customers
* Responsible for all shipments and the coordination of shipments according to customers expected shipping schedule
* Collaborate with the traffic/customs team on all finished products shipping to our customers, as well as spare parts and returns to supplier shipments
* Crate and box shipments as needed, as well as run a forklift to move product
* Manage inventory of packaging materials (boxes, lumber, hardware, etc.) requesting orders from NPS team as needed
* Manage and track all paperwork required for audits
Skills/Qualifications
Excellent interpersonal skills (verbal and written) required
Excellent prioritization and organizational skills required
Strong understanding of materials management and supply chain principles
Strong understanding of supplier lead times for delivery
* Team player in a fast-paced environment
* Strong computer skills
* 2-3 years' experience processing MRP related system transactions
* Ability to multi-task with numerous deadlines under pressure required
* Ability to use cranes and overhead rigging equipment
* 4 - 5 years' experience in a warehouse and/or shipping & receiving function
* High School Diploma or equivalent required
