About the role

In this role, your primary responsibility will be to drive strategic initiatives and planning efforts for the Highnoon Media team.

Born of the renegade mentality established in the West with equal parts innovation and authenticity, Highnoon, a new Tempe, AZ based marketing agency, has our sights set on challenging the status quo of what a full-service marketing partner should be.

Highnoon is seeking a Media Strategist & Planner. In this role you will work cross functionally with the team to define needs, audiences, usage and behavior data in order to determine what types of advertising will best suit our goals and objectives for the given project and/or Client needs. You'll uncover insights and define strategies to help launch campaigns and other messaging solutions through digital and traditional platforms. You'll also work closely with other Media team members who lead day-to-day campaign management to ensure the desired performance is achieved.

What you'll do

  • Manage media campaigns across multiple digital platforms (Google Ads, Meta, Programmatic, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Create and present media plans and proposals, including costs
  • Align campaign strategies and goals, and set KPI targets with the Highnoon internal team
  • Work cross functionally with team members to define the best messaging and creative approaches for Media campaigns that span across multiple platforms
  • Analyze performance, develop hypotheses and work with the campaign managers to test recommendations, including platform tests, interest targeting, spend scaling, etc.
  • Conduct internal and external audience, industry, and competitive market research to build media analyses, objectives and strategies
  • Function as a subject matter expert (SME) of paid marketing platforms and techniques, proactively identifying opportunities to innovate and develop new techniques, and/or platforms and channels to leverage in order to meet brand goals
  • Involvement in Media department discussions and meetings along with work cross-functionally amid various team members.
  • Keep leadership informed of daily and weekly activity
  • Proactively research and share best practices and enhance intra-team communication
Qualifications
  • 4-5 years of relevant marketing or advertising experience in Media Passion for online and offline marketing and advertising
  • Bachelor's Degree in Media, Advertising or Marketing fields
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills
  • Able to identify big picture goals within projects and connect the dots to media related solutions
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously as needed, as well as collaborate within a larger team
  • High levels of integrity, self-motivation, and a positive attitude
  • Any Agency experience is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office365 suite of tools
  • Familiarity with any Media related tools or project management platforms is a plus
  • Must be comfortable in spreadsheets, doing analysis and have ability to think critically about data
  • Proactive learner with strong ownership skills; ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Approaches work with a sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize your efforts as needed
