Quality Engineer

Job Title: Quality Engineer Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Quality Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will analyze current quality trends and lead improvement projects to enhance product quality and process efficiency. Utilizing Built-in Quality (BIQ) processes and principles of 6 Sigma and Lean, you will work closely with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, and Design Engineering teams to address and resolve quality issues. Responsibilities Analyze current quality trends for improvement projects. Implement process improvements focusing on defect detection and process enhancement. Identify the root causes of defects and develop solutions to prevent recurrence. Utilize Built-in Quality (BIQ) process to improve product quality in tractor assembly. Apply 6 Sigma and Lean principles to improve manufacturing processes. Support Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, and Design Engineering teams in solving quality problems. Implement advanced product quality planning (APQP) processes during the NPI cycle, ensuring facility readiness for ongoing programs. Evaluate the current Quality System process discipline and identify projects to address any gaps. Essential Skills Quality engineering experience Proficiency in Built-in Quality (BIQ) processes Knowledge of 6 Sigma and Lean principles Experience with assembly and fabrication processes Bachelor's degree in Engineering Additional Skills & Qualifications Proficiency with Power BI Experience with advanced product quality planning (APQP) Strong drive, initiative Work Environment You will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, closely interacting with various teams such as Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, and Design Engineering. The role demands a proactive approach and a high level of energy to drive quality improvements and process efficiency.
