Position Title: SCADA Program Manager Salary: Negotiable Location: Onsite throughout NYC Metro Area Job Description Scope The SCADA Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the successful execution of multiple SCADA projects within the organization. This role involves strategic planning, program management, and leadership to ensure that all SCADA initiatives align with the company’s objectives and are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The SCADA Program Manager works closely with project managers, engineers, stakeholders, and external partners to drive program success and continuous improvement. Duties & Responsibilities Program Planning and Strategy Develop and manage comprehensive program plans that outline project objectives, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets. Align SCADA program initiatives with the company’s strategic goals and operational requirements. Execution and Oversight Oversee the execution of multiple SCADA projects, ensuring they are progressing according to plan. Monitor program performance, track key milestones, and adjust plans as needed to address challenges and risks. Ensure consistent application of project management methodologies and best practices across all projects. Resource Management Allocate resources effectively across projects, ensuring the right skills and expertise are available to meet program needs. Manage and coordinate internal teams, contractors, and vendors involved in SCADA projects. Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary point of contact for program stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns. Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders, project teams, and senior management. Risk and Issue Management Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues that could impact program success. Implement proactive measures to address potential problems and ensure program resilience. Quality Assurance and Compliance Ensure that all SCADA projects comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality and reliable SCADA systems. Continuous Improvement Evaluate program performance and outcomes to identify areas for improvement. Implement lessons learned and best practices to enhance future program delivery. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. Experience: Extensive experience in program management, preferably within SCADA, industrial automation, or a related field. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex programs with multiple projects. Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficiency with project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.). Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred.
