The Job Details:

Essential Duties

Help Tickets

  • Create help tickets as needed at the facility. Ensure that the tickets are entered properly in the right categories within the help ticket.
  • Monitor the list of help tickets (daily) - work with the personnel associated with the ticket and determine if the ticket needs to be escalated, closed, changed, etc.
  • Communicate with CIT concerning changes needed for specific help tickets:
    • An issue is resolved and ticket can be closed.
    • A change in ticket priority or a ticket classification/sub-classification needs to be made.
    • A ticket has been open for a lengthy period of time and needs to be addressed ASAP.
  • Assist in site rollouts of system enhancements, communicating to the operations group the changes that can be expected and how the day to day operations will be affected.
Electronic Equipment
  • Maintain a current list of all electronic devices, which include
    • Office PC’s, laptops & printers
    • RF devices – onboard, handheld, tablets, scanners
  • Ensure all RF equipment has a label applied showing their device name.
  • Ensure Office PC/s, laptops and printers have a label applied showing their device name and IP address.
  • Keep an updated document of lifts, dock trucks, pallet jacks, and names of RF devices that are attached to them.
  • Maintain the accuracy of the RF equipment and lift number/type, which directly impacts the accuracy PerfPlus reporting.
  • Troubleshoot issues with electronic equipment (when possible) and escalate to IT when necessary.
  • Process returns of electronic equipment in need of repair.
    • A ticket has been open for a lengthy period of time and needs to be addressed ASAP.
System Securities
  • Manage list of user system securities (WMS/Phenix) on a monthly basis, and identify any changes that have been made (additions & deletions of user securities).
  • Identify users on the list that are no longer working at the facility. Work with the GM or CIT to have them removed.
  • Have the GM sign an updated list of the user system securities on a quarterly basis.
Legacy/Phenix WMS
  • Become a site expert of US Cold Systems (legacy/Phenix) - defined by your region.
  • Produce reports upon request, pulled from WMS and compiled for management.
  • Participate and lead in any Phenix related initiatives – gap analysis, support, training, implementation and PaSS projects.
Other Responsibilities
  • Report potential areas of improvement (systemic/operational) and suggest ways to implement solution to site and regional management.
  • Work with operations at facility to verify that warehousing procedures are up to date, employees are properly trained in all aspects of the system, and system profiles are current and correct.
  • Travel to other sites to assist in eWM implementation.
  • Participate in OSS events (ie. training, knowledge transfers, meetings, etc.)

What We Are Looking For:

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree or Currently Working towards the degree.

• Will consider right candidates based on demonstrated experience

Experience

• > 2 years’ experience in WMS/Taskmaster

• Specialized Knowledge in RF, AS400, MS Office, warehouse layout, inventory control

• Special Skills: Detail and customer service oriented. Organization, effective written and oral communication, ability to analyze and solve problems, excellent mathematical skills. Excellent computer skills.

• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks. Willing to travel within the region and occasionally outside the region.

• Preferred Lead experience or greater
