Position Overview:
We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aides to join our network of healthcare professionals. As a Dietary Aide contracted through our staffing agency, you will have the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and rehabilitation centers. This flexible role offers the freedom to choose assignments based on your availability and preferences.

Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation and serving of meals to patients and residents according to specified dietary requirements, portion sizes, and menu guidelines.
Set up dining areas, including tables, chairs, and table settings, and ensure cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas before and after meal service.
Provide assistance to patients and residents with meal selection, ensuring compliance with dietary restrictions and preferences.
Assist with the delivery and retrieval of meal trays to patient rooms and dining areas, following established protocols for accuracy and timeliness.
Monitor food and beverage inventory levels, replenish supplies as needed, and assist with stocking and storing items in designated storage areas.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment, and cleaning countertops, floors, and food service equipment.
Adhere to food safety regulations and infection control procedures, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of food items and waste.
Provide excellent customer service to patients, residents, and healthcare team members, responding to inquiries and requests in a professional and courteous manner.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or healthcare preferred.
Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques, sanitation principles, and safety procedures.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, residents, and colleagues in a positive and supportive manner.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry food trays, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
