Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate human factors considerations into the design and development of [product/system].
- Conduct usability evaluations and human performance assessments to ensure optimal user experience.
- Analyze and interpret user feedback, incorporating findings into design improvements.
- Support the development of user interface specifications and guidelines.
- Work closely with engineering and design teams to implement human systems integration principles.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in human factors engineering.
- Research analysis of missions, tactics, equipment, interfaces, and resource allocations to new and developing systems and programs
- Locate and research all relevant valid data to build the model, including both systems data from the PEOs and operational data (Fleet)
- Ensure data traceability through the pyramid of models.
- The Contractor shall ensure missions are traceable to Required Operational Capabilities and based on Integration and Interoperability baselines.
- Provide systems engineering support in analyzing and/or projecting performance of future systems.
- Applying engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test or evaluate systems.
- Conducting Task Analyses (e.g., Mission Task Analysis, Top-Down Functional Analysis, Critical Task
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- 6 years of experience in Government related R&D, T&E, and systems acquisition programs
- 4 years of relevant Human Systems Integration engineering experience
- ABET Accredited BS Degree from ABET recognized engineering curriculum. Examples include: ME/EE/IE/CSE or BSDegree in physical science, engineering, or mathematics that includes 24 semester hours in physical science and/or related engineering science such as mechanics, dynamics, properties of materials, and electronics. Examples include: Applied Math, Applied Physics, Operational Research, Modeling and Simulation, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Naval Architecture
