TCI has an immediate need for a Cyber Security Specialist in Frankfort, KY. This is not a C2C opportunity. This is a long-term contract opportunity with probable extensions. THIS POSITION IS HYBRID AND REQUIRES WORKING ON-SITE IN FRANKFORT 2 DAYS PER WEEK.

Note: This position requires US Citizenship or Permanent Residence.

SUMMARY

This Cyber Security Specialist is to maintain supported directory and security services. In addition, this position will assist with creating strategies to maintain our current services and serve as a cybersecurity role for the team. These services include a large Managed Security Services (MSS) Premises-Based Firewall Solution at each site, a single active directory forest with 180 domains servicing over 750,000 users, multiple Microsoft 365 Online offerings, and many other critical, high visibility identity and security software services. This position may require periodic on-call duty outside normal business hours to ensure that the supported systems are operating as intended and time sensitive deliverables are addressed. The on-call duties will be defined at the discretion of the client manager and/or the on-call policy for the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform firewall management and monitoring, including rule set configuration and validation.
  • Provide operational support and management of the Enterprise Active Directory environment, in cooperation with Microsoft.
  • Management of enterprise remote access solution for all users.
  • Serve as a project resource for major security initiatives.?
  • Management of statewide DNS infrastructure.
  • Management of statewide anti-malware solution.
  • Management of enterprise DDoS mitigation services in a Managed Security Services group.
  • Assist with security risk assessments, audit responses, and open records requests.
  • Provide Q&A and Tier 3 escalation route for all customers.
  • Lead and/or assist in technical presentations to customers.
  • Perform backup and disaster recovery procedures as needed.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Must be available to work hybrid schedule requiring on-site work in Frankfort, KY for 2 days per week initially.
