Overview

Imperial Dade, a leading North American distributor, has a Non-CDL Delivery Driver role available in Austin, TX Join a strong and continuously evolving group, helping to continue to grow our business. If you're eager for your next opportunity, Imperial Dade is a great place to take that next step.

As a Non-CDL Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to 15-25 stops per day. You will need to unload the merchandise using hand, pallet jack, and dolly, and deliver it to the customer's preferred location. Providing exceptional customer service is a crucial aspect of this role.

You will work from Monday to Friday, starting at 8:00am until the daily route is completed.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Safely operate a 24' box truck with air brakes up to 25,999 GVW
  • Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
  • Properly track and document activity log
  • Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
  • Inspect the truck before and after trip
  • Communicate with customers with an outgoing attitude
Qualifications

You have:
  • A good driving record
  • Must have a valid DOT medical card or be able to pass a DOT medical exam
  • 1 year of route delivery experience
  • 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
  • Lift gate experience
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted
  • Must be able to pass a DOT medical exam.
