Spang Power Electronics, a division of Spang & Company, has an excellent career opportunity for a Systems Engineer based in Mentor, OH, or Sandy Lake, PA. Spang Power Electronics is headquartered in Mentor, OH with sites in Sandy Lake, PA, and Xiamen, China.

This position will be responsible for designing and documenting the detailed implementation of Spang Power Systems based upon specifications compiled by Spang Sales and industry-recognized standards, including specifying components, performing calculations, reviewing and approving drawings, overseeing system tests, final approval of products before shipping and writing owner's manual for the power system.

We design and manufacture systems and products for industrial control applications all over the world, specializing in SCR Power Controllers, custom Transformers, and AC/DC Power Systems.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering Technology and 1-3 years of experience in the design, support, testing, service & startup of power and drive systems.
