Who We're Looking For:

Laborie Medical Technologies is currently searching for a Design Verification Engineer to join our team in the Portsmouth, NH office. This engineer is responsible for developing automated test cases and test fixtures for medical devices and software.

How you contribute:

  • Review, assess and provide recommendations on current test verification activities against compliance to FDA/ISO guidelines at Laborie.
  • Works with leadership and development teams to establish best practices and update process and procedures for Design Verification including identifying any new or necessary tools
  • Assist in the refinement of requirements and user stories to ensure verification
    perspectives are incorporated
  • Demonstrate high proficiency in test case development for system testing and deliver high quality, compliant test plans and test cases utilizing Microsoft TFS/Azure DevOps, Microsoft Test Manager and supporting tools.
  • Design, implement and execute both manual and automated test cases.
  • Assist in the definition of system level test strategies and the design and development of test systems required for verification.
  • Participates in requirements development, systems level document reviews.
  • Defect logging, tracking and reproduction (bugs).
  • Bug reproduction, logging, and triage.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or certificate in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field required, and at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficient in C# or a related programming language.
  • Experience in an automated test environment.
  • Verbal and written communication skills (English).
  • Experience testing and troubleshooting peripheral device communication and
    connectivity (Bluetooth/USB).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Microsoft TFS/Azure DevOps, Microsoft Test Manager (MTM).
  • Experience with Python, Pytest, and embedded software in the C programming language.
  • Experience with FDA's Quality System Regulation (CFR 820) and/or ISO 13485.
  • Experience with OPC-UA.
