Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop control systems and software for manufacturing processes.
  • Create detailed schematics and control diagrams for equipment and processes.
  • Develop and implement PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programs and HMI (Human Machine Interface) applications.
  1. Installation and Commissioning:
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of control systems and equipment.
  • Ensure that all control systems are correctly integrated into the manufacturing process.
  1. Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
  • Perform regular maintenance on control systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with control systems and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and develop long-term solutions.
  1. Process Optimization:
  • Analyze manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement control strategies to enhance process efficiency, reliability, and product quality.
  • Collaborate with production staff to optimize manufacturing workflows.
  1. Documentation and Compliance:
  • Maintain detailed documentation of control systems, including wiring diagrams, software code, and maintenance logs.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including safety and quality requirements.
Job Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on control systems and automation.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi).
  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics, control diagrams, and P&IDs.
  • Knowledge of industrial networking and communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus).
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, IEC).


Working Conditions:
  • Primarily based in a manufacturing facility.
  • May require occasional travel to other sites or vendors.
  • Possible exposure to industrial environments, requiring adherence to safety protocols.
