What You'll Do:

The Business Operations & Resourcing Associate will support and work closely with the Business Operations Manager and Director of Creative Operations to coordinate pre-sale workflows, support onboarding and manage bandwidth of internal and external resources, and support business operations reporting, as well as other related initiatives.
  • Coordinating pre-sale workflows: new opportunity set-up across systems, creation and maintenance of pre-sale timelines, scheduling meetings, note taking and tracking pre-sale deliverables
  • Supporting resource management: help identify resource gaps and make strategic staffing suggestions to ensure open staffing needs are filled with the right person at the right time and at the right cost - suggesting resources based on their skills, previous experience, availability, aspirations, and project budget
  • Supporting resource management: maintain freelance roster and conduct outreach and sourcing to further develop roster
  • Supporting onboarding and management of external resources: kick off onboarding workflow for freelance hires, lead welcome communications and ensure smooth technical onboarding, verify timesheet completion weekly
  • Supporting business operations reporting: help generate and validate weekly and monthly reports around capacity and utilization for internal and external resources
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Who You Are:
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a business operations, resourcing, or project management role within an agency, studio, network, or production company
  • Able to prioritize and organize workload across multiple groups, ie. comfortable navigating internal and external stakeholders across departments
  • Strong understanding of creative, production, and post-production processes
  • Thrive in a dynamic and fluid environment and are able to understand complex project requirements, understand briefs, and recognize potential risks and dependencies relevant to resourcing
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines
  • Possess extraordinary communication and social skills
  • Proficient in Google Suite
  • Detail-oriented and able to work autonomously

Compensation:

This position has an estimated annual salary range of $70,000 to $78,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to demonstrated skill set, years and depth of relevant experience, and some role-dependent factors. We welcome direct conversations with each candidate about compensation in all of our initial calls.

Candidate needs to be based in Los Angeles. This is a hybrid role with 2 days in office.
